Free
Tutoring Paid for by the Federal Government
On January 8th, 2002, President Bush signed
into law the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB).
The NCLB Act enables low-income parents at low-performing
public schools to select supplemental educational
services, like tutoring, for their children at no
cost. Girls Moving Forward is an approved provider
of free tutoring through the NCLB Act.
To qualify for free tutoring, your child
must attend an approved NCLB school, must be approved
for the free or reduced lunch program, and must fill
out a form requesting free tutoring services through
Girls Moving Forward. For help in accessing free tutoring,
call or email Girls Moving Forward today.
